Survey – Better data on NZ wood processors & manufacturers needed

The contribution of the wood processing and manufacturing sector to New Zealand needs to be better understood by government and stakeholders. The Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) is updating a directory of commercial wood processing and manufacturing entities through a short survey.

MPI has discussed the benefits of the survey with sector representatives, and we encourage you to participate. Who are we? Where are we? How much we process or produce? These are key questions continuously posed to the sector. This survey is the first step to further engagement to collate sector information and share information.
