SP launches two new harvester heads

SP has added two long-awaited additions to their product range – two new harvester heads that take both efficiency and performance to the next level.

SP 461 LF Next Generation

SP 461 LF Next Generation is the next-generation thinning head that combines low weight, compact dimensions, and impressive productivity. It’s the perfect fit for both boom-equipped harvesters operating on strip roads and smaller, stand-operating machines. 

With patented solutions such as LogHold and proportionally angled feed rollers, the SP 461 LF NG delivers impressive efficiency even when thinning larger diameter trees. The head reaches its absolute peak capacity in stands with a diameter of 8–35 cm bhd, but thanks to the LF concept, it can also handle larger diameter stems efficiently

SP 661 LF Lite

Looking for a harvester head with the same great features as the 661 LF – but with lower weight? Then SP 661 LF Lite is the obvious choice. Then the SP 661 LF Lite is the obvious choice. The SP 661 LF Lite is a lightweight and efficient head, optimized for mid-range wheeled harvesters. The head is designed in accordance with SP’s tried and tested Low Friction Principle, which means minimal friction, maximum production, and optimal fuel efficiency. The SP 661 LF Lite has been developed to offer the highest quality and productivity in all types of final felling.

In heavy final felling, the proportionally angled feed rollers, combined with SP’s patented LogHold system, deliver
maximum capacity and production. The agile design comes into its own in small-diameter final felling, and when equipped with Multi-tree handling, even very small stems can be felled quickly and efficiently.

The SP 661 LF Lite reaches its absolute peak capacity with stems with a diameter of 16–51 cm bhd, but thanks to the LF principle, it can also handle larger diameter stems efficiently.
