[Paper] FCNSW UAV case study

23 January 2017

Mike Sutton, the Forest Information and Planning Manager at Forestry Corporation of NSW (FCNSW), spoke at ForestTECH 2016 on integrating UAVs into their forest management operations. They identified the potential for UAV use in 2013 and ran a series of successful trials and demonstrations of the eBee ‘winged’ UAV.

  • Ensuring good capture when in field
  • Data management
  • Internal/external operators
