Postponement of ForestTECH 2021 event

18 October 2021

After talking to presenters, exhibitors and delegates for this year’s eagerly awaited ForestTECH 2021 event that was planned to run on 23-24 November 2021, it has been agreed to postpone the event for a few months. The uncertainty still around the evolving Covid situation in New Zealand and safety concerns for those travelling into Rotorua to attend the conference, workshops and exhibitions have forced this decision.

Instead of switching to an all-virtual event, it’s been decided instead to reschedule the event ForestTECH 2021/22 to run in Rotorua, New Zealand on 23-24 February 2022. For those foresters in New Zealand, it was felt that a face-to-face meeting was far more preferable to taking the whole event online. Further details can be found on the event website. All registered delegates (both live and virtual) to ForestTECH 2021 will automatically be carried through to the rescheduled event in February 2022.

We regret any inconvenience that this rescheduling may have caused. However, all involved with this event agree that under the current and forever changing circumstances, that this is the best and safest decision. Thanks for your support and understanding — it is genuinely appreciated. Further updates will be supplied as we move towards the rescheduled dates, on 23-24 February 2022.  We will stay in touch.
